Greeks Protest for 19th Day

In the 19th straight day of demonstrations against a new austerity campaign the Socialist government hopes to pass this month, more than 20,000 Greeks protested gathered in front of parliament in Athens’ central Syntagma square, on Sunday, shouting “Thieves! Thieves! Thieves!”
A week ago, media estimates placed the number of participants at around 100,000 people, plus thousands more in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second city.

  1. You need much more to work and no demonstrations. Greece is too lazy to work, but want to spend more than other Europe countries. That is reality. A new austerity measures are urgent necessary.
