The new Financial Minister, Venizelos has to deal with an extremely vulnerable situation, if the Medium-Term fiscal programme is not going to be welcomed by the Greek Parliament.
ECB stated that it is no longer possible to continue indirect funding of state deficits.
The Minister has to persuade the ECB to continue supporting the Greek banks and funding the Greek government. Otherwise, the Greek banks are gong to be ”absorbed” by the European Medium-Term fiscal programme.
According to an MP, the Greek banks have to face the crisis and it is more likely to get help from abroad in order to survive.
