Leaders of Cyprus Meet with UNSG Ban Concerning Negotiations

On the forthcoming Thursday, leader Dervis Eroglu of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and President of the Republic of Cyprus Demetris Christofias will have a meeting with UN Secretary General Ban discussing recent developments in ongoing Cyprus negotiations.
The Turkish- Cyprus newspaper “Kibris” reports that the Turkish side aims to negotiate and to cover the majority of the issues referred to the Cyprus issue apart from sureties. The Turkish side has completed a new plan creating solutions and points where both sides could reach an agreement.
The newspaper mentions that the Turkish side is planning to have a meeting including Greece, UK and Turkey.
The Turkish leader, Eroglu is discussing today with Erdogan about the issue and is going to leave Ankara the following day.
