Parents Donate Dead Son's Organs, Cyprus

The parents of 19-year-old Anthony Charalambous, another victim of the deadly explosion at the naval base in Cyprus, who was left brain dead, have decided to donate the organs of their son, thus giving  another person the chance to live.
The tragic father, along with his wife made the decision to donate their son’s organs, to see a fellow citizen be able to live a happy life, which would be a way of keeping memories of their son. The dreams for the 19-year-old sailor have vanished too early, in a very unfair way, but as the father said ”a young man who gives his life twice, becomes a double hero”.
Anthony was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit and tests will be carried out to see which organs of the unfortunate young man can be transplanted into patients who are in need.
