According to the Minister of Health, Christos Patsalidis, scientific analysis continued at the region of Vasilikos after the explosion at the Cyprus naval base. New results are proving that there is no risk to public health, as no toxic or harmful agents for the people or the environment have been traced in the area.
The analysis was conducted on the basis of the official information concerning the context of the containers which exploded. The Crisis Management Group of the Cypriot Ministry of Health will speak to the residents of the area to give them instructions about how to deal with the situation.
