The Port Police-Hellenic Coast Guard have published evidence regarding contraband cigarettes & , trafficking. From 01/01/2011 until 21/07/2011, it was revealed that 17.184.005 packets of cigarettes have been confiscated while the total loss of taxes is estimated to be 53.670.323 euro. They have arrested 132 people up to now traveling mainly on ships with flags of Ukraine, Bolivia, Comoros, Sao Tome and Tanzania.
