10.000 fake banknotes have been confiscated by the police on Corfu.
The authorities received information regarding counterfeit money being used by two Romani. Thus after careful surveillance, the two were arrested. After an Attorney’s decision, an investigation is now being carried out to discover the whereabouts of the lab or the house where the money is being printed. It is suspected that a greater quantity of money is probably being hidden somewhere.
