Kavala President Denies Accusations of Staging Games



In response to accusations of staging soccer games, Stavros Psomiadis, President of soccer team Kavala,  claims that UEFA is not making an accurate assessment of the situation.

S. Psomiadis gave an interview to clear the blurry situation. According to him, soccer fans gambled spontaneously and logically. His team had a stable route during the year and soccer fans bet on it accordingly.

The president of the team noted that there are many hidden political reasons regarding the attack against his team.

Mr. Psomiadis was asked about his fathers’ questioning absence in light of the accusations against him. The chairman stated that he is not responsible for his fathers’ actions and that he has no intentions to hide himself.
