Cannabis Discovered in Kefalonia, Rhodes, Crete and Pella

A 69 year old man in Lixouri, Kefalonia had planted Indian cannabis plants among other trees around his house.  The cannabis plants had reached a height of 2 meters. As a result, he was arrested and the small quantity of cannabis which he possessed was confiscated.
In Psinthos of Rhodes, policemen discovered in a mountainous and difficultly accessible region, cannabis plantations with trees form 10cm to 3 meters. Police arrested a 43 year old man who arrived at the area but his 37 year old accomplice managed to escape.
In the region Vorroi of the municipality of Faistos, Crete, policemen discovered a plastic bag with 256.4 gram of Indian cannabis. For four days policemen monitored the area but none came to collect the bag that was then confiscated.
In Risario of the region Pella, Northern Greece, a father and a son were arrested. The 58 year old father was carrying contraband cigarettes. After searching his house Police discovered 7.420 more cigarette packages. His 28 year old son was also arrested for having 14.5 gram of cannabis.
