Four Dutchmen, aged 20, 22, 22 and 24, were arrested by Greek authorities for holidaying in Crete with fake banknotes. The four men were celebrating and paying with counterfeit money when a bar keeper of the Hersonissos region realized the money was fake and accused the men of passing counterfeit notes. More than €1100 of fake banknotes were spent or found in their possession. The attorney is set to make a decision soon concerning the case, but no further action has yet been taken.
