Mayor of Thessaloniki Yannis Boutaris said on Greek channel ET-3 that he has spoken with general prosecutors in order to decide how they will deal with the Indignants, and whether they will remove the tents from the square of the White Tower.
After hearing this statement, the Indignants announced on their website that they have decided to remove the tents if it is considered that they cause problems. In addition, they claimed that they will not accept any slander concerning their political movement.
The Indignants are planning to organize a general meeting on August 25 to coincide with the opening of Thessaloniki’s International Fair, to welcome, as they claimed, the Prime Minister and the political party leaders to the city.
