Julio Iglesias Sues Puppet Regime in Northern Cyprus

According to the Cypriot newspaper “Fileleftheros”, the famous singer Julio Iglesias sued the Puppet Regime in Northern Cyprus and the company Net Holdings for deceit.
It seems the famous Spanish singer was invited to give a concert in the occupied territories of Cyprus but nobody explained to him the political situation or mentioned to him that the concert would be illegal.
The lawsuit was submitted by the famous lawyer Athanasion Tsibidis in Washington on behalf of the International Creative Talent Agency which represents the artist.
He also sued the company Voyager Kibris that owns the Merit Crystal Hotel and Casino.  This hotel belongs to a Greek Cypriot, but after the occupation, the Turkish company Voyager Kibris took over the hotel after changing its name.
Many artists like Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake were invited to give concerts but when they were informed about the particular political situation they cancelled the events.
