400,000 Euro Compensation For Death Due to Malpractice

According to an article in the Greek newspaper “Proto Thema”, the First Instance Court of Athens decided to give a 400,000 euro compensation to the family of a 19-year-old boy who died at the KAT hospital due to an oversight of the doctors.
In 2000, the young man had a car accident and suffered from fever, amnesia, pain in the chest and illusions. However, as it seems, the doctors of the hospital did not evaluate his condition properly, did not give him correct treatment, and the boy finally died of pulmonary embolism.
