Police authorities arrested 3 immigrants of Albanian descent transferring 132 kg. of Cannabis. The three men aged 31, 31, and 36 tried to transfer via Egnatia Avenue, but after a regular control made by police, it was found out that they were trading illegal drugs.
The authorities confiscated 132 kg. of Cannabis, 9 cell phones, and €2375 . After further investigations it was discover that there were more immigrants involved.
Another 38-year-old Albanian seems to have given the perpetrators his car to help with transportation. The man had testified in the past that his car was stolen, but police came to the conclusion hat he lent his car to the perpetrators.
Another three men are involved in the case, and police continue to investigate. The General Attorney of Ioannina will make a decision soon.
