The old customs office in the heart of the old town of Chania will be transformed into a centre of various cultural activities, after the approval of adding extra terms in the declaration of the project “Restoration of the building’s old customs office to a center of multi-cultural activities”.
“This positive development was the result of the meetings the Chania Mayor Manolis Skoulakis had during his two-day visit to Athens, with the secretary general of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Networks, Yannis Economidis and Minister Yannis Ragoussis. The Chania Municipality will proceed to the auctioning of the project, whose budget is 7,600,000 euros.
