Preparations for the fiftieth year anniversary of Limassol Wine Festival, opening on September 8th, are currently underway.
Events will be held in central squares and a parade of 50 antique cars will take place in the city and tourist area.
Cultural events within the context of the 10 – day celebrations will be dealing with the popular wine tradition of the area, which will be primarily presented through music and dance presentations, theatrical performances, and the traditional winepress.
It is worth noting that a special publication has been prepared, on the occasion of the festival’s fiftieth anniversary, entitled “Wine Gold Jubilee”, in addition to a commemorative stamp.
