George Provopoulos sad that Greece must implement the agreed reforms, or there will be dramatic consequences. In an interview with Sunday Real News the governor of the Bank of Greece explained: “We need to proceed quickly with a substantial implementation of structural reforms and with control of the dynamics of the debt, otherwise we will be faced with dramatic consequences.”
“We have to break this vicious circle. We have to focus on radical reforms in the public sector, to eliminate the factors which constantly generate deficits and debt,” he said.
Provopoulos said that if Greece does not implement the reforms markets will remain distrustful.
