Public Transport On Strike Again

The country is paralyzed under the weight of new strikes of public transport taking place from the 26th to the 28th of September.
More specifically, the tram and the suburban railway will be exempted from the strike tomorrow, while buses, trolleybuses and the subway will be on strike for the next two days (Tuesday, Wednesday).
Taxis are not included in today’s mobilizations.
On the 28th, Athens will be left both without taxis and public transport means, since employees decided to go on a general strike protesting against transfers and new measures imposed by the government.
Taxi owners are reacting against the government’s decision to liberalise taxi licensing laws while the public transport means Union is protesting again the labour reverse status.
