Air-Traffic Controllers Join 48-Hour General Strike on Wednesday

Air-traffic controllers will join the 48-hour general strike scheduled to start on Wednesday the 19th of October. This strike is likely to disrupt both domestic and international flights in and out of all Greek airports.
Moreover, all ferry services are on a 48-hour strike since yesterday.
The two main worker unions ADEDY and GSEE have announced a 48-hour general strike on October 19th against the new austerity measures proposed by the government.
During these two days, public transport in Athens will probably have a very limited operating schedule to bring demonstrators to the main gathering point at Syntagma Square (Athens City Center).
