According to an announcement by the Greek Defence General Staff, the Turkish Navy corvette Beykoz was seen off the area of Evoia and Andros island.
The Turkish corvette leaving Smyrna, moved west of Milos island. It then followed an eastern course between Santorini and Ios islands.
According to Greece, the ship was sailing along what Greece considers its continental shelf, operating in what it is being described as a “suspicious and provocative” way.
Greek Navy ships are watching the Turkish corvette, during its sailing in the National Territorial Waters.
