AEK Athens moved top of the Greek league on Sunday after winning 1-0 against lowly Kerkyra from Steve Leo Beleck’s second-half goal (video).
Beleck scored in the 75th minute to allow AEK to take advantage of crosstown rival Panathinaikos’ first loss of the season in a 3-1 defeat by Aris to take top spot.
AEK has one more point than defending champion Olympiakos but has played one extra match and two points more than Panathinaikos, which has two games in hand on the leaders.
