Google shows 'Greek Riots' among the most searched keywords in Zeitgeist 2011 Review

Google in a video titled “Zeitgeist 2011: Year In Review summarizes the major events of 2011 as they were registered in the searches of the Google engine. “Zeitgeist 2011” covers the most popular searched stories, among them the Greek Riots.


Google says ’2011 was a year of adversity, crossroads, revolutions, remembrance, possibility, inspiration’ and more. Among the themes of Google’s “Zeitgeist” were the floods in Brazil, the Tsunami and Earthquake in Japan, the killing of Osama Bin Laden, the final space shuttle launch, the Riots in Greece, the revolution in Libya, Egypt and the other Arab countries, the Occupy Wall Street movement, the death of Steve Jobs and the internet phenomenon Jessica Black among others.
