Greek Motorcyclists Take to the Streets to Protest Against Austerity

Greek motorcyclists will hold a protest rally outside the Greek Parliament against the new package of austerity measures to be implemented in Greece on Wednesday, February 22. The bill that includes cuts in salaries and pensions will be introduced into Parliament on the same day.
In their announcement, the motorcyclists chided the Greek MPs, who will receive their pensions after completing two terms in office, while ordinary people will see their pensions shrink even further.
The meeting point for the motorcyclists will be Karaiskaki Square, from where they will ride off to Syntagma Square at 17:30.
At 16:00 ADEDY, GSEE and POE-OTA will also march to the Parliament to protest the severe cuts of the new bailout bill and the general anti-popular policies.
