Renaming the Hellenic Ministry of Education- What's the Price?

During the period when George Papandreou was Greece’s PM, most of the country’s ministries were renamed. But we were never informed about how much these changes would cost.
Greece’s new three-party coalition government decided to unite two ministries, that of Education and Culture. What’s so bad about that, you ask? The answer is that such a change means every school of the country has to change the Ministry’s logo on their seals and documents. Many other changes are also necessary so that the total cost amounts to almost half a million euros.
At the same time, Greek politicians claim that the country’s coffers do not have the money needed to pay for drugs, salaries and handouts. But, as it seems, they have enough money to make such expensive changes.
Mr K. Arvanitopoulos has undertaken the merging of the two ministries which includes, as already mentioned, changes of ministry’s logo, inscriptions on buildings and seals.
For the seals alone that about 15,000 schools all over the country have to change, Greek citizens are called to pay 350,000 euros.
If we take into account reprinting of graduation certificates for students of the 3rd High School grade (which have already been printed with the old logo on), the Greek state needs €50,000 more.
We should also stress the fact that it is the third time since 2004 that the Ministry of Education is being renamed.
