A dozen of beautiful women marched outside the Greek Parliament defending our country.
The astonishing contestants of the Miss International Tourism beauty contest united having arrived from all across the world to show that Greek tourism is not in crisis.
Before entering the “battlefield” on July 11, the models who came to Greece decided to make their own effort to support our country’s heavy industry, as many call it.
So, they marched outside the hotel where they were staying on Panepistimiou Street holding a banner reading “Greek tourism is not in crisis.” The models showed not only that they had good looks but also a strong opinion and will to change Greece’s negative image abroad.
Passerby Athenians congratulated the beautiful women for their meaningful efforts. The extreme heat did not allow them to stay for much longer, but their effort was successful and we thank them for that.
