Kos Police to Dig Up Rubble for MissingToddler

British toddler Ben Needham went missing almost 21 years ago on the Greek island of Kos, where his grandparents owned a house. While the then twenty-one-month-old toddler and his mother, Kerry Grist, were visiting his grandparents, he suddenly disappeared.
The British police have not stopped investigating for missing Ben Needham and now want to dig up a plot on Kos over suspicions that the toddler might be buried there. They are in talks with the Kos police as they believe that the little boy might have been accidentally buried under rubble, close to his grandparents’ farmhouse.
Officers are thinking of using 3D scanning equipment to search for bones buried underground, the Daily Mirror reported. Ben’s mother described potential discovery of her son’s dead body as a “horrendous thought” because she believes that Ben is still alive.
A few months ago, Greek private investigators sent Grist a message via Facebook informing her that a man is asking for £500,000 to reveal what happened to Ben. “I felt as if the man was trying to blackmail my family and trying to make me put a price on my son’s life,” Ben’s mother commented.
