Zaman Turkish daily is celebrating its 25 years of circulation by organizing different events, including an exhibition running until Dec. 10 at the Technopolis Cultural Center in Athens.
The exhibition entitled Türkiye’de Zaman translates as Time in Turkey and features the work of 25 internationally acclaimed photographers depicting and promoting Turkey abroad.
The event was attended by Athens Mayor Yiorgos Kaminis and also attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Greece Kerim Uras, Ahmet Hacıosman, a deputy from Greece’s Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) and Rena Dourou, a member of the Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA), Marios Lolos chairman of the Greek Photojournalists’ Union (EFE).
The photo exhibition was first launched in Istanbul and then moved on to different Turkish cities, London, Vienna, Thessaloniki and Brussels.
