Rafik Djebbour scored twice against Panathinaikos but could not lead Olympiakos to victory as the two bitter rivals drew 2-2 at Athens’ Olympic Stadium in the Greek league Sunday.
Olympiakos stayed at the top of the league but its lead over PAOK was reduced to eight points, while Panathinaikos, in the midst of a difficult season, is 7th, 16 points behind the leader.
Haris Mavrias opened the scoring in the 17th minute but Djebbour scored in the 22nd and 33rd to put the visitors ahead. Jose Toche scored Panathinaikos’ equalizer in the 67th.
