High Tech Brazil Hacks Greek Printing Office

121206094354-account-attack-monsterA few hours into 2013, hackers made their first strike on a Greek site. Brazilian hackers with the nicknames, o One – CrazyDuck – Otrasher – L34NDR0, part of a team which goes under the name HighTech Brazil HackTeam, attacked and disrupted the Greek National Printing Office website.
The office is a technical unit graphics production responsible for publishing and distributing the Government’s Gazette, and also meets the printing needs of public services.
In their message, the Brazilian hackers did not clarify the reasons for the attack or the data gained from the printing office website or infrastructure. HighTech Brazil is a relatively new, though active group with multiple successful attacks against government websites around the world, even against high-risk targets such as Interpol.
The government wasn’t able to block the attack, which officials said could be preliminary. There was no word whether there would be any upgrade in the office’s website anti-hacker protection.
