Harvard's Hellenic Center Joins With Arsakeia

arsakeioThe Society for the Promotion of Education and Learning Arsakeia-Tositseia Schools said it’s going to enter into a collaboration with the Center for Hellenic Studies at Harvard University.
A memorandum of understanding agreement was signed by the President of the SPEL Professor George Babiniotis and the Professor of Classical Philology of Harvard University and Director of the Center for Hellenic Studies, Professor Gregory Nagy at the Word and Art Auditorium of the Books’ Archway.
This collaboration aims at achieving a goal over the development of learning tools and disciplines associated with the use of technology in the study of humanities. The CHS specializes in this object and has already achieved distinction through the development of innovative methods on the use of digital technology in education/training. SPEL will collaborate with the CHS for the implementation of this technology and shall explore pioneering methods in the Arsakeia Schools (Athens, Thessalonica, Patras, Ioannina, Tirana).
Along with that, the life-long learning projects implemented through the Society for the Promotion of Education and Learning University with the collaboration of academics of the CHS in the US and Greece. Finally, the partnership aims at supporting research projects and other activities related to education and Greek culture.
