A 52-year-old woman working as a foreign language teacher was arrested yesterday for pedophilia by men of the Cyber Crime Department of the Greek Police in Athens. This is the first case of a female pedophile being arrested in Greece.
According to local media reports, the woman was fluent in eight foreign languages and taught in various tutoring school classes as well as in private. She is the only recorded Greek woman to have participated in global pedophiles’ emancipation movements.
So far investigations have confirmed the existence of a Greek movement supporting pedophilia and the Greek Police have already tracked down five of its members. Research in the house of the arrested teacher produced 34 magazines with pedophile content, a pedophile guide, a notebook with information about the pedophile movement in Athens and names of its members and a hard drive to be further investigated by the Forensics of the Greek Police.
The Police came to the woman’s arrest after a Dutch reporter sent an email to the Cyber Crime Department. In her email, the Dutch reporter wrote that her colleagues had contacted the 52-year-old woman while researching on a convicted pedophile in the Netherlands. The Greek teacher appears to be an active member of various pedophile organizations around the world. The reporter visited Greece, falsely representing herself as a pedophile and met with the accused woman, who encouraged her into engaging in sexual actions with minors.The woman will be brought today before the Athens Public Prosecutor, while investigations continue concerning her involvement in further pedophile activities both within and outside Greece.
