With Greece hoping for a tourism rebound this year – and that likely visitors won’t be put off by more protests, strikes and riots against austerity – Turkey has already begun advertising heavily to increase its lead over Greece.
Greece’s campaign hasn’t kicked off yet with the summer in sight with the government cutting back, even though tourism is the biggest revenue producer for the country which desperately needs growth and cash.
Students of the Tabula Rasa School of Arts wrote a commercial for Greece which goes under the title Be One Of Us Hellas during their advertising course. Inspired by their love for their homeland and their belief that they live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, they decided to take action and to show that just with a borrowed camera and invaluable ideas, one can do wonders.
Tabula Rasa, is the first school of creative writing in Greece and offers integrated studies for a limited number of students.
