Greek Parliament Gives Away Used Goods

schoolThe Greek Parliament has approved a project to donate more of its used electronic equipment to schools and charitable organizations around the country that are going without them.
The Parliament has donated electronic, mechanical, educational and other relevant material, such as computers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, printers, interactive whiteboards, televisions, bookcases and books.
The goods go mostly to schools, primarily in remote areas, professional colleges, orphanages, educational institutions and organizations of the Diaspora, particularly in neighboring countries. Equipment that is too outdated or deemed useless is thrown away.
Recently, the Sikinos’s middle school received books offered by the Parliament. Members of the school sent a letter to the President of the Parliament to express their gratitude for the donation.
