Panathinaikos had to settle for a 0-0 draw against visiting Panionios in the Greek league Sunday despite dominating most of the game.
Panathinaikos had 36 efforts on goal to six for Panionios, and also took 23 corners to its opponent’s four.
With two rounds remaining, Panathinaikos is in danger of missing the home-and-away playoffs among the teams finishing second to fifth. The playoff winner will join already-crowned Olympiakos in next season’s Champions League, and the other three teams will play in the Europa League.
