Early Morning Shooting in Patras



indexTwo men were killed and one injured in a murderous attack at dawn on April 17, outside a nightclub in Patras.
Two people riding a motorbike, stopped outside a club and began shooting at three people, who happened to be on the sidewalk at the time. A 35-year-old man was fatally injured, while the other two, 32 and 42, were injured and taken to the hospital Agios Andreas.
Reportedly, the 32-year-old succumbed to his injuries while being hospitalized. The 42-year-old has lighter injuries, in his back and his right thigh.
According to data collected so far by  the police, the unknown assailants wore dark clothes and had their faces covered with white helmets. From the crime scene about 23 cartridge cases were collected, which according to information came from machine guns and pistols. The evidence will be sent to the crime lab, to determine if it can lead to the perpetrators.
Officers from the security service of Patras, are taking depositions from the 42-year-old who was slightly injured, and from other people as well, who might help in the investigation.
