FBI Agents Train Greek Police

h0346060.limghandlerTwo FBI agents came in Larissa in central Greece for the first time in order to train Greek police officers in modern crime detection and response methods.
Their presence was the result of an initiative taken by the General Police Directorate of the Thessaly, followed the request made during the visit of the U.S. Ambassador some time ago.
The agents were sent over to train 25 Greek police officers who serve in Thessaly. The police officers were given demonstrations of the means and tools used by the FBI  in order to combat crime and investigate serious crimes.
There was discussion of how a suicide was prevented in the U.S. after Greek police monitored an Internet site.  The FBI agents also discussed how to deal with cases where crimes take place on board ships in international waters.
