Giasemis, 16 Takes Off For NASA

GiasemisA young boy from Evia was the only student from first class of high school – nationwide – who managed to win a place within the top five of the National Group of Astronomy and Astrophysics.
His next goal is to get the best distinction in the International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics.
The teen astronomer Fotis – Ioannis Giasemis from Ayia Anna in Evia, is preparing to fly off to NASA. Ever since he was a little boy, he has always been curious and interested in the planets, the Sun and the mysteries that the universe hides. That is why he has been studying so hard to make his dream come true at the age of 16 only.
In late July he will visit the NASA Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, where he will stay for seven whole days, finally being able to closely live such an exciting experience. Of course, Fotis says that he is all packed and ready to go!
