Four people are dead and one injured in a shootout between rival Roma families in Gastouni, in the prefecture of Elis in the Peloponnese, according to local media.
After the police investigation, three Roma were arrested who allegedly caused the four victims’ fatal injuries. Two of those arrested are being hospitalized, as well as the first person who was injured.
According to information, the shootout began by members of the two families, while police officers are investigating the cause and taking testimonies.
There are police officers both at the crime scene and the health center of Gastouni to prevent a possible new conflict.
