The 51-year-old man from Turkey, who was arrested by the Counter-Terrorism Unit, was led to the public prosecutor at the Court of Appeal, in the framework of the investigations concerning the weapons on the island of Chios and was taken into custody.
The Police said that the 51-year old man was prosecuted for terrorist activity and for possessing fake Bulgarian documents, according to an arrest warrant issued by the German authorities.
Initially, it was announced that the EU arrest warrant was issued against the 48-year old man of the same nationality, who was arrested with him and was holding a fake passport.
