Antonis Gregos, a Golden Dawn lawmaker, had his gun license revoked while another member of the neo-Nazis, Giorgos Germenis, who attacked Athens Mayor George Kaminis could also lose his, authorities said.
Gregos lost his license to carry a weapon after a gun he was carrying went off at an Aegean Airlines counter at Athens International Airport earlier this year while he was getting ready to board a flight to Thessaloniki. Officials said he had not properly secured the gun.
After Germenis tried to assault Kaminis, who had prevented the distribution of free food to Greeks only by Kaminis, it was reported the MP reached for his gun. That’s still being investigated but the mayor has filed a suit against him as well.
