After Crete, New Earthquake Hits Thessaloniki

227-tora-seismos-stin-thessalonikiAfter Crete a new earthquake occurred in Northern Greece, in the area of Thessaloniki. The earthquake was mostly felt in the western regions of the city.
The weak earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale (according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre) took place at 13.35 in Pikrolimni of Kilkis, northern Greece.
The epicenter of the vibration is detected within 24 kilometers northwest of Thessaloniki, in the area Mikrokampos, Kilkis. The focal depth is estimated at 10 km.
