30 Authors Read to the Public

LOGOTEXNIKH SKHNH SEPT 2013 300 DPI smallThirty poets and novelists (25 Greeks and five foreigners) are participating in the second edition of the literary festival of Logotechniki Skini (Literary Scene) that is being organized for the second consecutive year by both the Municipality of Kalamaria (in the Thessaloniki Urban Area, located about seven km southeast of downtown Thessaloniki) and the publisher of the magazine Entefktirio, George Kordomenidis.
The festival hosts acclaimed poets and novelists and younger authors from Thessaloniki, Veria, Drama, Kavala, Kozani and Xanthi as well as from Bulgaria, Sweden and Turkey.
The event organized by the Literary Scene will take place from September 13 to 15 at the theater Melina Mercouri in Kalamaria.
The three-day event includes a three-part tribute to the Alexandrian poet Constantine P. Cavafy.
