Accused Killer of Fyssas Jailed

Golden Dawn_FissasThe apology of the perpetrator of the murder of Pavlos Fyssas in Keratsini was completed. It was decided that the 45-year-old Giorgos Roupakias shall be remanded into custody, so he was led to Korydallos Prison.
The murdered of Pavlos Fyssas stayed in the office of the investigator for less than three hours.
Accompanied by powerful Greek police forces the 45-year-old arrives at Piraeus Courthouse at 9 in the morning of Saturday 21st of September.
Roupakias, wearing a bulletproof vest, went to the office of the investigating judge to apologize for the accusation of homicide intentional violation of the low about weapons.
The offender, who has confessed his act, was detained at the General Police Directorate of Attica (GADA). According to information, in the file he claimed that he was in defense.
After forwarding the file containing information about all the illegal activities of Golden Dawn members, deputies and supporters from the minister of Public Order Nikos Dendias to the Prosecutor General of the Court of Cassation, the case will now be supervised by the Prosecutor of Greece’s Supreme Court, Euterpe Koutzamani.
