Golden Dawn MP Costas Barbarousis’ former bodyguard was arrested by the police in Agrinio, as after a survey carried out at the local Golden Dawn offices, the police found a police cap, a helmet with two leg braces from a police platoon and 17 hunting cartridges which belong to the GD MP’s bodyguard.
The police also confiscated 30 shields, two motorcycle helmets, 15 torches, 11 poles with flags, three wooden rods and an ax.
Last September, this police man-bodyguard was suspended because he had participated in the riots caused by members of the Golden Dawn party in the popular market of Messolongi.
