The society of Limassos is shocked by a family tragedy that unfolded last night. According to the police, a 32-year-old man killed his estranged 25-year-old wife with a G3 gun of the National Guard, injured one of their children and then put an end to his life.
The tragic incident happened around 23:00 on September 30, when the 32-year-old man visited his wife’s home, where she lived with her three children and her mother.
They had a fight, he shot her fatally and injured their 10-year-old daughter in her arm, and then he shot himself in the head.
The 10-year-old girl was transferred by ambulance to the Limassol General Hospital, where she underwent surgery and now her condition is out of danger.
The victim’s relatives lodged their strong protest that while the gun had recently been taken away from the 32 year-old after complaints about his violent and dangerous character, a few days ago he got it again from the Police.
