KKE Leader: Reorganisation of Working Classes Movement our Only Hope

pame-syntagmaPAME (labour union affiliated to Communist Party) organised on Saturday an anti-memorandum and anti-fascist rally in downtown Athens Omonia square.
Greek Communist party (KKE) leader Dimitris Koutsoumbas in his address said that “our only hope and prospect is the reorganisation of the working classes movement, the organisation of the people’s struggle and the promotion of the popular alliance within the working classes, the employees, the unemployed and self employed, the poor farmers, the young and the women.”
Koutsoumbas reiterated that “The socialisation of the monopolies, the disengagement from the European Union and the unilateral cancellation of the debt is a prerequisite for the people to really take the authority.
It is reminded that PAME has called all the labour unions and federations to meet and decide on a 24 hour general strike on October 23 as a first action-response to the barbarous measures.

    1. Ironic KKE is lecturing about fascism given KKE represents the other side of political extremism. The fact is fascist parties like GD, communist parties like KKE/Syriza, and anarchists are ALL extreme.

Moderate Greeks of both left and right should never forget the treason and barbarity of both communists and fascists that massacred Greeks on behalf of genocidal anti-Greek foreign ultra nationalist extremists. One doesn’t necessarily need to vote for ND or Pasok (since they got us into this debt mess) but anyone that votes for populist parties like GD/KKE/Syriza is an idiot. Whatever you vote, vote for moderation not for thugs that senselessly riot in the streets and quietly encourage terrorism with extreme rhetoric and extreme political positions.

    2. “the organisation of the people’s struggle and the promotion of the popular alliance within the working classes, the employees, the unemployed and self employed, the poor farmers, the young and the women.”

Sounds familiar. Where have we all heard this sort of thing before. Oh right.

    4. Oh look, the flip side of GD came out to play!

Is Samaras going to shut them down too or is their destrucion of property and assaults petentiously legal?

    5. What do you mean? There are big differences between communists and nationalist socialists.

Fascists hate liberal democracies and wish to nationalize many of industries. As the single party dictatorships during the cold war showed communists are actually very “democratic” and certainly would never dream of nationalizing an economy.

In Golden Dawn;s care they attack Greeks and immigrants whereas Greek communists specialize in attacking primarily Greeks.

Fascists murdered millions during WW2. The communists murdered even more but hey they took longer to do it.

Communists and fascists clearly hate one another… except you know that time when were allies that agreed to invade Poland in 1939.

    6. Same garbage, different colors. Actually, given how many Mao and Stalin murdered, communist are ahead.

    7. I continue to be amazed how many in the alleged moderate left keep failing to notice that the vast majority of political related violence in Greece isn’t Golden Dawn thugs or some vague “protesters”. It’s communists and anarchists. (by a longshot)

I used to vote left. Even believes that the right wing were all secretly fascists. That changed dramatically a few years ago when riot after riot convinced me there is also such a thing as far left extremism.

The constant riots also convinced me there is widespread mainstream racism against Greeks. Many of the same foreigners that applaud parties like Syriza usually oppose communists in their own countries. For instance VMRO supporters in Skopje cheer on our communists then hate their own moderate center-left SDSM. The NY times wrote an article recently suggesting Greeks should support communist Syriza in our country — then go on to vote for Democrats or treat Republicans as moderates in their own.

These are not morally or rationally consistent positions. It’s simply hatefilled foreign nationalists using sophisticated propaganda to manipulate our communists thugs as a proxy against Greeks. (with our dimwitted communists failing to notice they are being played like a fiddle to undermine their own people)

    8. So now KKE is the problem? Blame everone but the real gangsters behind it all?
What about the 2 criminal gangs from PASOK & New Democracy Parties running this Government of Thieves, Liars & Crooks who created all these problems today? It was PASOK & ND Parties who created Golden Dawn and the Far Left by their corrupt rule and mismanagement of Greece. (Akis Tzahadzopolous from PASOK is just one example of their corruption).

1.) Why isn’t PASOK’s MP Venizelos in jail for hiding the Legarde List 2
      years in his home?

2.) Why isn’t PASOK’s Finance MP Papconstantiou in jail for removing his
      relative’s names on the List?

3.) What about PASOK & ND Partise still owing 250 million Euros to the
Banks in phony loans they have not paid back yet?

It seems to me the Gov’t and Press is using Golden Dawn as a “distraction” to take attention away from the Massive Crimes these two corrupt Parties have committed as well as High Treason against the whole Greek nation after 39 years of corrupt rule!

    9. So GD can pay €6m in salaries from a state grant of under 900 grand. With magic economics like that, maybe they should be running the country!

    10. Greek communists hear words like “poor”, “workers” (yada-yada) then fanaticize that just because they support some politician that uttered these words they will help them not be poor. They completely fail to understand one’s wealth is primarily created by the effort of the individual not be some vague government entity.

Far leftists irrationally waste much of their limited time on this earth complaining how the government or someone else isn’t giving them enough (or worse yet. rioting) . They could be using all that effort getting skills to enable them to offer something useful in trade.(which would free them from their shameless dependence on the government). What’s funny is both Golden Dawn and Syriza have essentially the same big government spending platform as the “solution” to Greece’s economic (the same mentality that created our debt in the first place) Sadly we don’t have a single party focused on industry. Even ND, who helped spend us into the group, is too far to the left.
