Minister of Education Announces New Deadline for AEI

Greek Minister of Education, Kostantinos Arvanitopoulos forwarded a regulation to the Parliament in order to resolve the turbulent eruption in Greek universities because of the suspension of administrative employees.
According to a report cited in protothema.gr, Mr. Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos gives a five-day deadline and calls all administrators of the eight Universities included in the suspension scheme, to dismiss themselves in a special website of the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry of Education estimated that the situation was going to change as four of the eight universities have sent the details of their suspended employees. According to information, the four AEI (universities) which have already sent lists of suspended employees are: the University of Economics, the University of Ioannina, University of Thessaly and the University of Crete.
