Yannis Kazantzoglou in Custody for Implication in Fyssas Murder

Yiannis Kazantzoglou, the 32 year old Golden Dawn member charged for being involved in the murder of Pavlos Fyssas, appeared before the 6th investigative judge of Piraeus just after 10am today. After his deposition, the court decided to keep Kazantzoglou in custody until the trial.
According to the file of the case, Kazantzoglou seems to have been in the front passenger seat together with Giorgos Roupakias on the way to murder scene in Amfiali. He is alleged to have escaped the arrest after the crime, but he had  left his mobile phone in the car. Kazantzoglou had been interrogated before, concerning his involvement in the criminal investigation and was released on bail.
Giorgos Roupakias, who is being held at the Malandrino correctional facility, will be interrogated on Tuesday about being a member and being involved in a criminal organization; he will also be questioned about his active participation in Golden Dawn’s structure and action.
