Troika Demands New Measures

troika_arrivesTroika returns to Athens and demands new measures that will bring 2 billion euros.
According to Real News, the second round of negotiations with the creditors depends on the will of the Greek government to implement the prerequisites of the Troika which are closure of EAS (Hellenic Defence Systems) and ELVO (Hellenic Vehicle Industry), mobility scheme for 12,500 employees, paying debts to the water companies of Athens and Thessaloniki and a new lawyer’s code.

  • intervention in the so-called “noble Funds” with a redefinition of benefits

  • acceleration of dismissals of 11,000 public servants in the first month of 2014
