Greek Prime Minister Samaras: “Greece Is Not at War”

Greek PM Samaras Interview

Greece is not at “war” with the European Union and International Monetary Fund and we are also not at the verge of a civil war, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras said during a televised interview broadcasted by Mega TV.

The interview took place on the eve of the latest review by the lenders to decide whether to pay the next tranche of bailout loans. The Troika of the European Union-International Monetary Fund-European Central Bank (EU-IMF-ECB) said the government is facing a budget hole of up to 2.5 billion euros ($3.37 billion) but the government insists it’s only a fifth of that, some 500 million euros, ($674.25 million) and that it can be filled by social security cuts, breaking his promise not to impose more austerity.

Inspectors from the “troika”, resume a visit to Athens on Tuesday to check how far the country has come in meeting its bailout commitments.

“First of all let me say something – let’s do away with this notion that we are in some kind of war,” Greek PM Samaras told Mega TV. “It is a negotiation.”

Samaras also said that the government will take no additional horizontal austerity measures, noting that “such measures have not been agreed, and the Greek society and economy cannot afford any more measures.”

On Violence
Speaking on the assassination of two Golden Dawn members and escalating violence in Greece Samaras stressed that he would “not allow democracy to bow to criminal violence.”

“There must be stability and unity and trust by Greeks in their country and trust by foreigners in Greece.”

“For God’s sake, we are not on the verge of civil war, we Greeks are united against violence,” the Greek premier pointed out, underlining that what some people were doing at the moment was “throwing a match into the powder keg at a time when we have so many ‘fires’, social, economic, etc.

Samaras did not avoid to attack the main opposition Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA).

“Violence is always violence and should be condemned; the political parties should denounce violent acts and extreme behaviors that lead to violence. It is unacceptable (for SYRIZA) to call on the people to overthrow the government.”

Speaking on Golden Dawn and how the polls still show the party to increase its influence he noted that the voters are not Nazis: “There are no Nazi roots in Greece, it is just a reaction to the hard times the people are going through. As soon as unemployment will start being reduced… such phenomena will disappear.”

The Greek Prime Minister also said that his government was not late in dealing with the ultra-right Golden Dawn (Chryssi Avghi) party. He said that the preparation work had been done and for the first time the Greek state acted instantly and in an organized way.

Greece & Technology

He also spoke during the interview about initiatives that his government will implement in order to help Greek startups and announced that in 2104 Greece will have free nationwide Wi-Fi for all!

  1. Samaras is running scared… It was Samaras and fat boy Venizelos and the Press who “fueled the fires of hatred” against Golden Dawn and SYRIZA, and anyone but their own PASOK & ND corrupt and “morally bankrupt” Parties…

Wake up People — TIME TO VOTE THESE ROTTEN POLITICIANS OUT & put them in jail for Life for “High Treason” against Greece !

The 2 “criminal gangs” from PASOK & New Democracy Parties are running
a Government of Thieves, Liars & Crooks who created all these problems
today. It was PASOK & ND Parties who created Golden Dawn and the Far Left
by their corrupt rule and mismanagement of Greece. (Akis Tzahadzopolous from
PASOK is just one example of their corruption).

1.) Why isn’t PASOK’s MP Venizelos in jail for hiding the Legarde List 2
years in his home? And what about Venizelos’
controversial submarine bribery deal, he signed in 2010?

2.) Why isn’t PASOK’s Finance MP Papconstantiou in jail for removing his
    relative’s names on the List?

3.) What about PASOK & ND Parties still owing 250 million Euros to the
Banks in phony loans they have not paid back yet?
4.) What about Health Minister Georgiades who got caught chaeting on his taxes the other day and was let off with a minor fine of 1200 Euros. Whys is he still a Minister and not fired??

It seems to me the Gov’t and Press is using Golden Dawn & SYRIZA as a
“distraction” to take attention away from the Massive Crimes these two corrupt Parties have committed as well as Treason against the whole Greek nation after 39 years of corrupt rule!

  2. I am not against european foreigners living legal in Greece. I am only against illegal immigrants living in Greece with dirt, drugs and crimes. Mostly are Africans, Turks and Arabs.

It was Prime Minister Antonis Samaras of New Democracy who promised before the Zionists of America that “I will eradicate the Golden Dawn.”

  5. most illegals and criminals in Greece are actually Albanian

“The largest number of foreigners jailed in Greece’s prison system are Albanian citizens. Their number is 2,224, or around 30% of the total number of foreign prisoners.

Most of the offenses are dealing drugs, murder, robberies, kidnappings etc. Some of the Albanians received light sentences of 2-8 years, while others were sent for life.

Out of the 11,965 foreigners jailed in Greece’s prisons, the Pakistanis are second with 400, Iraqis third with 398, Turkey has 336 nationals jailed, Bangladesh with 95, Nigeria with 93, Syria 90 etc.
There are citizens of EU states who are also jailed, however their numbers are marginal compared to the ones mentioned above”

  6. Norwegian police say that a knife-wielding man who stabbed three people to death during a bus hijacking in rural Norway was a failed asylum seeker who was about to be deported. The 30-year-old man from South Sudan hijacked a bus and stabbed to death a 19-year-old woman and two men in their 50s, one of whom was the bus driver.

Isn’t artificially imported 3rd World multiCULTuralism great! The indigenous White European population is being culturally enriched by these 3rd World immigrants and ‘asylum’ seekers.
What’s interesting is how millions of Syrian refugees have fled to Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and even to Europe. They seem to be fleeing in every direction except for Israel, even though Israel shares a border with Syria. Interesting.

  7. MSM I always thought that there was no difference between the left and right it was more a question of fashion, you wear red and you are a commie, wear black and you are a fascist, as for the rest its all the same rhetoric and herd mentality.
So as I scientific experiment I tested my theory I wore red and went to a SYRIZA gathering yelled out a few slogans and lo and behold I was excepted as one of there own a few days latter I wore black and went to a GD gathering yelled exactly the same slogans and what do you know again I was excepted as one of there own
Having proved my point I listened to both groups political platform not just the main speakers but the people in the crowd and again was amazed at how similar both groups point of view was, for a minute there I thought it was the same group of people but wearing different colours.
In the end the only conclusion I can make is the main difference between both groups is the Colours you wear like a group of Soccer Hooligans being led by who ever shouts the loudest otherwise you are both full of Bullsheet .
The government should simply ban Black and Red instead of political parties that would confuse the members of both groups and would achieve the same result.

  8. They do not need anyone else its all about distracting the voter and that has been achieved
